Dunedin's School Holiday Programmes April 2018

School Holidays are upon us and if you are anything like me, there is still some planning to do!! So I have done some googling and pulled together a list of all the programmes that Dunedin has to offer. I had no idea there were so many great options out there!

In Alphabetical order, you can click on each one to give you more info and the registration form.

Sessions led by Development Officer and local coaches. Focusing on skill development, competition and fun.

Kids get to try Hip Hop, Contemporary and Musical Theater.

DGA offer gymnastics and trampoline sessions. Suitable for all levels.

A fun week based out of Chipmunks. For 5-11 year olds.

Based out of DNI School. Offers holiday block sessions. Great for kids to improve their swimming skills.

A vast range of sports, dress up days, group challenges and some exciting trips involved.

The Tinker School have teamed up with Rialto Cinemas Dunedin to encourage tinkering around prop design & construction!

Based in Mosgiel at Elmgrove School. In partnership with children, their families and community, Kids West seek to engage children in fun, exciting opportunities, promoting reciprocal and responsive relationships and allowing for the choice and availability to enjoy solitary time.

A cricket programme to keep the kids entertained through the holidays.

For Hockey and Non-Hockey players. Includes fun team building games and activities though out the week as well as playing and learning some fun basic hockey skills and games.

A different theme each day! Sounds great.

Playball focuses on developing sports skills through Playball classes and sports clinics and also include trip days and other fun activities that kids love. 

Fun filled week of a variety of activities.

A programme that offers kids need a break away from the structure of school, and a great time for them to be exposed to new and exciting experiences.

Involves fun playing games, stretching, learning about their own important qualities and skills.

Programmes cover the basics of golf in a fun environment with equipment provided if needed.

Horse riding, horsemanship, treks, games. No experience needed.

Southern United Skill School

Based out of Fairfield School. Offers holiday block sessions

Based out of Moana Pool. Offers holiday block sessions.

Dunedin's first all-inclusive holiday programme. Located in Halfway Bush

For tennis players and aspiring tennis player aged 6-16.



After reviewing each of these and since this is my daughters first school holidays I will try out a couple of different programmes! Hopefully she enjoys the new experiences!
